Spring cleaning
Okay so going to school and having 4 jobs doesn't exactly give me much time to do stuff around the house. Actually my house has been a mess lately and while it annoys me to no end there just doesn't seem enough time. Grumpy has been trying to help out but he works too and then lets face it he is a guy. It was cute he was helping me clean today and said he'd done the bathroom upstairs. Well when I went to take a shower and noticed that besides the tub and sink nothing was clean.
Anyhow this is my last weekend off until November so I took off today and I am attemting some spring cleaning. I figured in order to be sure that I do it. I better post some before and after pictures. I know its messy so please forgive me for posting them. We got pretty far today and I am going to do the bed room and then kitchen and bathrooms tomorrow - got a ton of laundry too. I figured by Sunday all I should have left is some dusting, mopping and window washing. Wish me luck - I need a to find a cleaning lady one thats not afraid of the dogs (thats why the last one quit). 
Here is my messy living room. One of these days I want to buy furniture all we have was given/sold to us by friends and family. 
Not that you can see it under all this mess but thats my dining room table and in the corner you can see the china cabinet. 
This is the other side of the dining room where Mac' s crate is and Sassy's blanky . 
This is my office which doubles as guest room or au pair room if we have to house them. Sassy's crate is in here since she bit Grumpy. The vet said to make it unavailable. See the dress on the right thats my Dirndle for Busch Gardens. 
Last but not least my kitchen. I didn't take any pictures of the upstairs bedrooms but believe me they aren't pretty either.

Katy, I'm starting to think that our dining room tables might be related... Separated at birth perhaps? LoL!
It's funny you should write this post, as I've also been in clean and purge mode lately. What bothers me though, is that no matter how much I seem to get done, I'll look around, and it still looks like I haven't touched a thing... Now, why is that?
OH, yeah, it's because I've got a hubby and a kid who seem to follow me around, mess in hand, dropping it wherever I've just finished cleaning... It's one of those vicious cycles. Heh!
Oh, and NO WEEKENDS OFF 'TIL NOVEMBER?????? Woman, you NEED time off! Hmmmm, I have a solution! Grumpy could get an extra job, so you can drop one of yours! Yeah, that's the ticket! ;)
Jewels - not sure where my table came from so maybe they were related. See I have the same problem only my "kids" are four legged. As for the weekends I hope to get some Saturdays off while Busch is open we'll see. Its not so bad I mean I still have some time off

In fact, at home we eat in bed & at the shoppe we eat in my office on one of those cheap crappy wobbly small fold up banquet tables that I covered with contact paper.
*I can't believe the food porn goddess just admitted to that!!!*
Ugh...I clean the kitchen table once a year, on Xmas eve before everyone shows up! LMAO!
I too have been in the 'cleaning mode' lately. But, yeah...no matter how much I do, I look around and just see more to do.

My kitchen is a scene of total devastation. I have to clean the place but am not even sure where to start. If I posted a picture my daughter would be over in a flash to put us in a home.
Jin - see we eat on the couch while watching TV or I eat at my desk between blogging and homework so ...
Phos - my kitchen is usually the cleanest if I have been home enought to where I cook. I usually clean while cooking.
I usually cook while cleaning.
