I HATE waiting

I can't stand this. See I applied for a new job before Christmas and they called and did the phone thing after I got back from Germany. Everything went well so I was asked to interview in person last Friday. I had 3 interviewers - 2 of them were people I knew and had worked with. I thought the interview went okay but it seems it went really well. I had sent the main interviewer a thank you email as well as to one of the ones I knew. Well the lady that I knew emailed back saying everyone loved me and I was wonderful and so forth. The main interviewer had said she'd call the company back today and give them her recommendations today. So here I am waiting by the phone.

I had a missed call from them this morning but it turned out to just be the recruiter wanting to be sure that my boss knew of all this as he was going to call him for a reference. I just talked to my boss who confirmed that he just spoke to them about me for about 10 minutes.

This would be a huge opportunity for me, my career and our bank account - why can't they just call and say yes or no this is driving me nuts!!!!!

There goes my diet. I have noticed I am one of those people that eat when they are upset. So here I am munching on a huge piece of cheesecake which I am sure has more calories than one is allowed to eat in a day - and why you ask - well I just got this email


The new LCC "I." will be starting with the Williamsburg families as of tomorrow. Please contact your families and let them know you will continue to work with the other families in the region.


So what does this mean? "I." lives in Williamsburg and was hired to be the Local au pair coordinator there. So that means she is getting 10! of my 18 families. This also means I am getting a $240 paycut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So lets review when I took the area over 4 years ago there were 2 families - one quit in a matter of months so I was left with one family! I worked and grew the group to the size it is now and as gratitude I get more than half of my families taken away. Now is it just me or is there something wrong with that picture?????

I am working on the vacation post but I ran into some problems which delayed me but its coming. I meant to do it last week but aside from loosing Shawnna there was more trouble which delayed all this. For now here are some animal pics. This is the farm Shawnna was going to go back to and the Lady vet had said to just come on down anyways. So I packed up the pups and off we went to go and play with some horses.

R.I.P. Shawnna

Shawnna passed away at 10pm tonight. She struggled for 2 hours with my mom there standing watch over her and passed away after I got home from work. Needless to say I am a mess. I know this is best for her as she suffered and I am sure she is now with her mom looking over us. But I miss her already. I miss them both.

We just got back from the Emergency vet where we dropped her off to be cremated.

I just want to go on record that this year sucks so far.

To much drama

I know I know I should be working on a post about our holiday vacation and I will I promise just not now.
We have only been back for a few days but there is so much drama already. To much for my taste.

We got back Thursday night and Friday as I was leaving work my mom calls me. She said it looks like Shawnna (the dog of my friend that passed away) was dying. So I raced home, crying all the way fearing the worst. I got home and there she was on the floor her legs cold, she wouldn't get up. She picked up her head and wagged her tail a bit when I came in but that was it. She looked so pityful you have no Idea. I had to go to work right away but my mom stayed by her side fed her liquids and ground beef. She perked up a bit more but when I got home after 10pm she still hadn't gotten of the floor. I went to bed fearing that I would have to call the vet in the morning to have her put to sleep if she wouldn't get up. I didn't sleep well for obvious reasons and dreaded getting out of bed to see how she was. I had said to Grumpy that is she was up I would take her to the vet to be examined. We she was up and I did take her to the vet in the morning. They did X-rays on her heart and abdomen and it turns out her heart is enlarged and the vet thinks she has some sort of cardiomyopathy. I was crushed. So I called the lady who was going to take her back next week to giver her an update on how she was. I told her I understand if she didn't want to take her back as they just buried her great dane but she said to still drop her off next Saturday. She is a vet herself so I feel Shawnna would be much better off with her than with me. We are never home this way she will get the care and love she deserves. It will be hard for me but I know its best this way and after the last couple of days that became very clear. I'll miss her a lot.

As for the rest of the drama - there is an update to this post. Apparently 2 people got little invitations to the g.r.and.ju.ry and visits from the man in b.lck befor those were issued.

My mom is driving me nuts.

And than there is still the issue of the last comment on this.

Two of my HF have split so I need to see whats going with all that. One of them hasn't even talked to his wif.e just up and left.

I am honestly to exhausted to deal with all that bull so I decided not to. I am focusing on trying to get some rest as I still have a nasty cold

Well we made it back. Sadly our ENTIRE luggage didn't. All four of our suitcases are still somewhere that means all our clothes and more importantly all my goodiiiiiiiieees. We were told they would call us tomorrow with the were about of our luggage.

Word of caution NEVER FLY LUFTHANSA EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are the most horrid airline ever.
