Puppies and I were taking a walk around the lake but its so hot that we had to take a break. That and I managed 2 nice blisters already.

Check out the view. The weather is gorgous. I am back in Vegas waiting for my coworker with whom I am having dinner. Will need to find some time tomorrow to drive my rental outside of the city. I do luv the mustang especially the convertible.

I just checked into my hotel and got the coolest view from the 26th floor. Yes that big building is the Empire state building. I just have to say I love my job.

Happy Easter and a favor

I hope everyone is having a great easter weekend. Grumpy the pups and I have been camping at Cherrystone all weekend making sure to throughly test the trailer :). This campground is more to our liking even if the pups and I were chased by some dog that wasn't on the leash this morning and ended up having to ask the park manager for help in order to get back to our trailer.

Here are some pics I took on my cell - we forgot to bring the actual camera.Here are the pups in their bedroom - yes they have their own little bedroom in the trailer.
Here is the view from the trailer - beyond those trees is the water. We are on the bay side of the eastern shore but you wouldn't know it as there is no land insight. We can totally see us here for a longer vacation. Sadely while the campground is relatively close we wont be coming here for just weekend trips. In order to get here we have to take the Chesapeak Bay Bridge tunnel and that costs us $20 one way.

Per google maps our trip should last 90min but I guess they didn't figure the horrid holiday/tunnel traffic into it. Its a 3mile back up to the first tunnel haven't seen any signs for the other tunnel

Never again

I am so sick to my stomach right now. We decided for the first time of taking the trailer out we were just going to the Newport News Park up the road. Just to see how everything works. We took the dogs of course.
We set up Grumpy went to take a nap and I sat outside with the dogs tied to a tree - working. After Grumpy got up and and took the pups for a walk while I made dinner he hooked up Mac to the post near the front of the space. Well some point later some guy with a pitbull walked by and his dog went after Mac - there was some growling but nothing serious. We just moved her leash further back. After dinner Grumpy ran out to get some stuff for breakfast while I was working and dogs were outside on their leashes. I saw an expedition pull up and thought is was Grumpy then someone knocked on the trailer. At which point Mac barked as she went up to the person (as close as she could with the leash) and all I hear is the guy screaming I am going to shoot your dog. I get out and its a park ranger - he again says he will shoot her as she is deadly and dangerous!!! This was with her leaning at me - not even trying to get to him!!!!! He said I better do something about her or we get thrown out - he wasn't messing with this and would just shoot her. The guy with pitbull had gone up to the ranger station and reported the incident which is what the Ranger came to check out.

I can not tell you how upset I am. I mean all he had to say was - unless your outside don't leave to dogs out - or be sure to hook them up further away from the street - but the scream he will shoot my dog is so out of line. If it wasn't to dark I would pack up right now and leave. Obviously we will NEVER come here again EVER. Grumpy said he will talk to them on the way out tomorrow - he said it was probably a good thing he wasn't here as he'd end up in a fight with the guy. So but now I am going to be paranoid - I told Grumpy I wanted to get them mussles so everyone can see they can't bite. I mean we bought the trailer so we could take them with us not to leave them at home. I don't like the idea of mussling them but I would never forgive myself if someone shot one of them or we had to put them down because something happend.
