Ended up leaving DC early as the site didn't do any on the things I had asked for. So I get to spend an extra day at home.

Just got to my hotel and had yummy chocolate covered strawberries waiting for me in my room. Took a bunch of pics coming into the city check out flickr for the rest.

Flat tire, lost card and extra checks

Not my favorite day. With a big deadline looming over my head and tons of stuff to do I end up with a flat tire, waiting forever for the road assistance people, loose my wireless broadband card - yeah my boss was not happy, and then the Apirport scurity peeps decided to choose me for extra checks of bags and body. Well at least the airport has free WIFI. See below pics from my day

While waiting for the roadside assistance people the Medi Vac chopter came in with a new patient.

Now the battery of my laptop is dying so its off to read my book till my flight comes.
Hey guess what - i have no flights the next two weeks. Got to drive to DC next week and just have 1 day the week after where i have a visit - in Richmond driving distance. I wont know what to do without sitting at airports all day :)

Its snowing and its staying. Guess I better go shoe shopping when I get done since my virginia boots dont hold up to snow and 17degrees. But since I'll be in snow cold country every week for a while I guess it would be a smart investment right? Hopefully I get some time to go skiing in February. Its tourture not to be able to play in the snow.
