Grumpy and I are out tonight seeing one of his fraternity brothers band play. The bands name D.A.M. (drunk ass monkeys) says it all. They sound pretty good and are fun to watch. We are having fun other fraternity brothers are here too. Oh and Grumpy just found out he is going to have his own store in 2weeks. He will be the boss yippee that means he makes his schedule ;)

He did look like the ones in the show CHiPS. Back in Vegas till Thursday night. Got food from the Hofbrau hause again. If you are ever here I encourage you to stop in its pretty good.

Nothing much new here. Grumpy and I had a nice lazy day at home. I am heading to Vegas on Monday. We just hung out which is always good. The kitties loved it. Here are some pictures

Cleo cuddled up with us on the couch This picture I took a while ago as you can see Misty watches over Grumpy when he naps. So I made my first homemade pizza from scratch today. I have been graving pizza a lot lately but have been using the dough you can get in the store. We had bought some pesto mix which tastes so yummy on pizza with cheese sprinkled over (I do not like sauce on my pizza). Then I realized I could make my own dough in the bread maker my mom had given me for Christmas (Which I had yet to use). So here it is.
I think I will have to pre-bake the dough before putting cheese on the next time as it was not really done. I think I will also experiment with the dough some more - maybe mix basil and garlic into it.

Sookie on TV

So I have been awaiting the new HBO series True Blood with mixed feelings. See forever ago Phos wrote about the Sookie Stackhouse series and I decided I check it out. I totally loved the books so I was sort of excited when I heard it was going to be made into a series. Last night the first episode aired and it wasn't as bad as I feared. While Sookie in my mind didn't quiet match the actress they chose the others came pretty close as did the story line. Granted the accents were killing me and I don't remember Tara being such an angry obnoxius woman but Jason and Sam are pretty hot and Lafayette made me laugh. Some of the scenes/talk seem more X-rated than I remember but oh well its HBO I guess.
Now I am awaiting next weeks episode :)
