nothin much

Haven't had much to say.

After dinner we saw Ocean thirteen. It wasn't as good as Eleven but much better than Twelve. While our dinner view was lovely the rest of the dinner left much to desire. Our Ice tea was fermented, the appetizers left much to be desired, Grumpys dinner was cold and mine was just icky. So we'll redo it this Wednesday. This time we are going to this place one of the other girls works in. Its supposed to be really good. Then we are going to see the Silver Surfer.
Anyway between homeowrk and work haven't had much time the last few days. Somehow I managed to hurt my back so waiting tables was painful. I still made good money even while trying not to work much. That's what I love about our restaurant. Right now I am enjoying my day off. I had lunch at my favorite indian restaurant with my Scottish friend. I spend the am yesterday cleaning the bedroom and I tell you I was horrofied. I mean I knew it was bad but yuck!!!!!!!!! Today is laundry day. Cleo and Grumpy - check out the look she gives me Here is Misty in her newest hidaway. We put a little stuffed pig in there for her to be more cozy. And last not least the newest bunny picture. The front yard looks so empty now with the big oak tree and the spruce gone. I can't wait for Grumpy to plant some new stuff.

So I am so totally not motivated. I just keep looking at my phone - why you ask? Well there is a chance that the weekend was not a total bust. One of the coordinators there works for a CRO and as we rode down the elevator and checked out together we got to talking. By the time we split at the airport she had given me both her cards and taken mine and told me to call her if I don't hear from her office this week and she will go to the VP of HR and make them call me. She works in HR and if I get the job she'd be my boss. She was so confident that this would happen but I am being cautious. Now this is the type of job I want to do after school - well I'd do it now but I keep getting told I have to wait 'till my degree is finished. It would be awesome to get a start sooner or have a job lined up for after. I'd get a nice pay raise too. Plus they are a global company with lots of grow potential for moi and I'd work from home when not at a site.

On other news Grumpy told me we have Baby Bunnies. So cute, sadly when he mowed the grass they panicked and ran in the back yard. The dogs have killed 2 of the 4 that I know off. I was really sad. I hope the other two stay in the front yard where they are save from the doggies. That's where the other bunnies always hung out. Also when I got my water from the garage this morning there were 2 birdies and it sounded like they had a nest with baby birds inside. So it seems my house is turning into a zoo.

lazy sunday

So the gray clouds that greeted me this morning told me to go back to bed and I actually slept until 10:30. After that I kind of goofed of checked my email and some blogs did some homework and so fourth. I have to say the rain didn't do much for my motivation. I did get through 4 loads of laundry and did some cooking for the week including a pot of sauerkraut which turned out delicious if I may say so. I found a mix for those Czech dumplings that I had bought when I went to the Czech republic last time so I made those too but I need to go get some gravy to make it really good. Anyhow I did accomplish quite a bit this weekend so I guess I did good. Here is the latest bunny picture. I saw it the other day when I went to work.

Of Bunnies and house guests

When I pulled in the drive way tonight with an AP in tow to stay with me until I find a new HF for her, there was the Bunny. Well trained by us it stayed in place until I got a picture of it. I will finish this post later as I just got in and I have 2h and 15 min to write a essay about HIPAA.

It's alive!!!!!

I woke up about 4am when I heard Mac bark outside. So it took me a minute to realize that Grumpy must have fallen asleep on the couch with the pups still outside. So I woke him up and told him to let the pups in and go to bed. He told me that when he went outside last night our bunny was there. *happy grin*. He was nice enough to take pictures of it as he knew I'd want to put them on the blog to reassure all of you!!!! So here is the Bunny taken last night.

I had to go to the office early today because one of my patients had to do a 4h glucose tolerance test. As I am stumbling downstairs half asleep this is what I saw entering the livingroom! (thank god for camera phones!!!!!)

Normally Mac sleeps in her crate but I guess she figured she'd deserve the couch. She put up one ear and opened one eye to see who was there and then went back to sleep figuring it was just Mom and I'd let her stay on the couch (she has me trained well). Misty was right there to keep her company. Well I am off to the Restaurant, who knows if the night gets crazy enough I may post again.
